Soldering is easier than I thought
Recently I've been teaching myself to solder and I should've tried it sooner. Knowing that I potentially have the ability to fix something without having to just replace it is very satisfying. I bought an Xbox off ebay being sold as broken, stuck a mod chip in it, upgraded the hard drive, and got it working. Felt pretty good. Until now anytime I saw some diy project on Youtube that required soldering I figured it was too much for me but now it feels like I have a lot more possibilities. Don't be intimidated, give it a try some time.
