My teenager emails
I've had a gmail account since it was an invite only beta and was going through some old emails. I found some that I sent to friends back in high school. Back when we used email for communication instead of just using it for purchase receipts. My sense of humor could be described as a teenage boy who thought he was smarter and edgier than he actually was. Typical teenage boy behavior honestly.
I like the current version of myself more than who I was in high school. It can feel like I haven't changed or improved over the years so it's nice to have proof that things are different. I was never really all that bad, I wasn't 'trying' to be offensive or controversial (I knew certain things were bad but didn't think others were), and it's far from an original thought but learning more about different people and why they feel the way they do is good and it makes you a better person.
